Baffled Design
Designed to replace OE mufflers with similar low
decibel noise readings. Common design is the triple
flow with 3 tubes being perforated, louvre or plain.
# 1 tube is the inlet,
# 2 is the bypass and
# 3 is the outlet.
Oval triple flow mufflers come in offset/centre and
offset/offset configuration.Round triple flow mufflers
have 120 degree spacings called PB and DB. Some
baffled muflers also have a small bullet (bull tube)
built into the outlet tubeOE design baffled design
tend to have extra plates and
chambers with tuning tubes Centre/centre baffled
mufflers are more OE design with plates and chambers.
